Children of today are our future, childhood to be protected as much as possible. And yet, children are the more vulnerable population when talking about poverty and diseases.
Often misdiagnosed, TB in children kills two hundred children die from TB every day, yet it would cost only 3 US cents a day to prevent an infected child to get ill and only 50 US cents to treat the disease. Childhood TB is a hidden epidemic, as claims WHO. They get ill, but also they suffer of the strikes of their parents suffering the disease, even dying from it. TB was responsible for 10 million orphans in 2009.
