Art is important for TB. Many reknowned artists suffered from TB in the past, and we have herited their legacy through their novels, paintings and music. Nowadays, art is used to communicate, and illustration is important for the advocacy.
Today we would like to share with you the work of George Butler, an artist and illustrator specialising in travel and current affairs which worked together with MSF to paint beautiful watercolours in Mumbai, depicting the TB ward of an hospital, several patients and other special moments as how the treatment is provided. You can access the watercolours here.
